Lars Mikkelsen-1Lars Dittmann Mikkelsen, born 6 May 1964 is a Danish actor. He is an actor from Denmark. He has played Troels Hartmann Copenhagen's mayoral candidate in The Killing. [1] Charles Augustus Magnussen was the third series of Sherlock. Viktor Petrov, the Russian president, was portrayed in the American House of Cards. Star Wars Rebels featured Grand Admiral Thrawn as Thrawn. He was awarded the Reumert Prize of Honour in 2011. When he was 27 He was enrolled at the National Theatre School of Denmark. He graduated from the school in 1995. In addition to his part in The Killing, [1] He also appeared in Borgen III, a Danish drama that was widely popular. He also played a lead role in an episode of the BBC drama Sherlock as the blackmailer Charles Augustus Magnussen.In the American TV show House of Cards, he played the president of Russia. He won an International Emmy Award in 2018 for his part in Danish drama Herrens Veje. It was aired in the UK in 2019 as Ride Upon the Storm
